Aftercare

Step 1 - Ensure hands are washed well before touching the tattoo, as well as having your recommended non-scented soap, Aquaphor moisturizer, and clean paper towels handy.
Step 2 - With clean hands gently massage soap and warm water across the area to remove any ink residue or dry blood.
Step 3 - Rinse soap off the tattoo and pat down with a new and clean paper towel. Having a new disposable paper towel will ensure the tattoo can dry without risk of old bacteria from used towels.
Step 4 - Let air dry for 5-10 minutes.
Step 5 - Take a teardrop to pea size (as needed) amount of Aquaphor and gently apply to the area. The ointment keeps the tattoo from drying out and helps prevent scarring or infection.
Step 6 - Repeat steps 1-5 one to two times daily for 2-4 weeks.
Step 7 - Wear loose cotton clothing over the tattoo site when you go to bed to prevent your new tattoo from sticking to the sheets while you sleep. Loose clothing is imperative as tattoos need to breathe to heal best.
